Red Ribbon Week 2014

Red Ribbon Week

Each year, toward the end of October, we celebrate Red Ribbon week.  Red Ribbon week was started to honor the death of a police officer killed while trying to apprehend drug smugglers.  The goal of this week is to make students aware of the dangers of drugs and alcohol and other negative decisions.  Our FCCLA chapter at Hatton and Northwood have been planning activities for this event for many years.  We will update this as soon as plans are made in the fall for 2015..

Red ribbon week is being sponsored by the Northwood-Hatton FCCLA Chapter. All of these activities are planned and carried out by FCCLA members.
